Blu Ray is the only one out right now and is supported by everybody except NEC and Panasonic. Unforunately, it is EXTREMELY costly. Think about it. Sixty dollars a disc! That is insanity. You'll go nuts after hearing about the TRUE fact that players cost 999 and burners cost 1800

HD-DVD. It will cost less. Also it will end up being the main format because Microsoft supports it. Microsoft can easily shut down blu ray by making their software non comptable.
