Does Age Of Empires work well in Windows Vista?

I have Windows Vista Home Premium. I have Age Of Empires Asian Dynasties Cracked (Without CD). Suddenly, the game stopped working. When I saw the details it said APPCRASH (Application Crash). Now, is this a problem of Vista or the Cracked game? And what is the solution to this?I have 1gb ram, 256 mb Graphic card AMD and NvidiaI have 1gb ram, 256 mb graphic card and Amd processor and NVIDIAIs this common with all Win Vista?
