Do you need a computer to use a CD Burner, can you buy

CD Burners separate? I would like to buy one for a Christmas present, but I don't know anything about CD Burners. The person I am getting it for does not have a computer.

You can buy every part of a computer seperate! a cd burner is an expansion of the hardware you can buy the cd burner and hook it up your self! if will have directions that will show you every step. good luck!!

Yes. There are stand-alone CD Burners/Recorders that do not require a PC.
