Desktop keeps losing wireless connection with ADSL...
...router, disconnecting from internet . Any ideas? Wireless set-up uses Belkin USB adapter and Belkin modem/router. Signal reported as strong, works well when connected but connection repeatedly fails, requiring clicking on icon in taskbar to re-start.

yes try cat5 instead of wireless, i feel so do others its not reliable yet as there is so much interference from phones blue tooth microwaves etc.

I would call the DSL company and get a new modem seriously, we had the SAME trouble, could never get it working correctly. We got the new modem and now everything is working as it should!

If you are using Windows on your PC then there are know problems with disconnects. Windows will reset the WiFi connections. You should upgrade to Service Pack 2. See the link below ...
