i have observed that my internet speed on a fresh install of XP is more....quite more compared to say XP 30 days old....does installing different softwares affect this?i'm not talkin abt anti-virus or anti spyware or firewalls....even if these are not installed....gradually the internet speed decreases over a course of time jst after installing regular apps like office, photoshop etcis there any tweak to regain the speed that we have on a fresh Xp install?my internet plan is 2Mbps adsl...another thing...is jst having bittorrent installed affecting it?
