to Windows? I have a CD made from Linux (Red Hat?). In the CD there are 2 files with the same name and extension, but the first 3 digits are different (small caps and large caps).Example : File JOHnny.txt and johnny.txtFile johnny.txt is larger in size than JOHnny.txtI need to copy the file johnny.txt from the CD to my Windows laptop, but Windows only sees the JOHnny.txt file. It does ask if I want to overwrite JOHnny.txt with johnny.txt, but when I say YES to it, it only copies a file with the same size as JOHnny.txt (i.e. small size file).Any ideas how I can copy the large file (johnny.txt)? I don't have a Linux system. Thanks for the replies, but it isn't as simple as that. The Linux system recognizes 2 individual files with different sizes. The Windows system doesn't. It sees both files as one entity and takes the capital letter file as a priority. Thus when I copy the file from the CD, it is like copying the same file twice but with different sizes. However, Windows has 'assigned' the file size as the smaller size file (JOHnny.txt) and 'refuses' to copy the larger size file (johnny.txt).Thanks for all the replies. I have resolved this issue.Basically I had to find a computer with a Linux system and copy the file manually to a USB Flash Disk.
