Controlling iTunes Library from External Hard

Drive? My iTunes library has recently expanded past 3000 tracks, and I'm running out of space on my computer. I'm a Windows XP user. I just purchased a Western Digital book to backup all my files.Is it possible to remotely control my iTunes library (and subsequently control my iPod) using the WD book? If so, how?Thanks.
