I have an old Dell that has a 2.6 Ghz of Pentium 4 and 1.25 GB of RAM.I currently have a NVIDIA 6600 GT OC, and I want to upgrade to a 7900GS so I can play Battlefield 2 with the highest graphical settings. Is it possible that my computer is so old or slow that it won't be able to take full advantage of the speed a 7900GS would provide? In other words, will my CPU or lack of RAM cause bottlenecking, or am I good to go? If you have any other reccomendations as to what other video card I should get (AGP), I'd love to hear them. I'd like to stick with NVIDIA.Is there a difference between GDDR3 and DDR3 memory? I have found this one:eVGA GeForce 7800 GS CO 256MB DDR3 Video Card 256...only for $176, and BFG makes one with GDDR3 but for $216.
