CD Burner help!!?

when i first got my computer...i inserted a blank cd and a window would pop up askin wht i wanted tto do with it...id click burn a cd...but now when ii insert it nothing pops up...and i can't burn a cd anymore...are these any settings i can change or somthing...plz help
