Canon Pixma MP600 printer troubleshooting error code...

...6010??? I just received a Canon Pixma MP600 printer for my birthday today, but as soon as I tried to set it up, an error code 6010 came on the screen. Does anyone know how to fix this? The menu is not working and Canon is closed today. Please help.
