I cannot get yahoo voice chat to work on my

new windows vista laptop HELP??? it shows the following "This computer does not support the audio compression format? my audio is working it has a mic,I tried going to prefferances everything seems working fine,so what is going on???what should I do???A new audio card???wtf I just bought this laptop 3 days ago....i downloaded 9.0 beta from yahoomessenger.com
