you can't overclock e machines.. they are low end

you can't overclock e-machines. It is not recommended to overclock any machine as it overheats processor and shortens its lifespan.

You don't want to, overheating issues. But when you start up he computer start hitting the delete key to bring up the bios menu and it should be under frequency&voltage and you can change the CPU clock speed.

What would be the purpose? I would bet that any software you have isnt using your new systems potential! All you would be doing is putting the new processor in jeopardy of burning up!

you probably cant overclock a name brand pc (emachine, compaq, dell, etc.) the bios in their motherboards arent advanced enough. replace the motherboard for like $40-50 and then you'll be in business.
