where can i find a DVD driver for a...

...Packard-Bell EasyNote R 9950 laptop....my OS is Windows Vista Ultimate...? Ok, here goes, a friend came to my place with his laptop and asked me to format it clean with windows vista ultimate....thing which i did....his laptop is a Packard-Bell EasyNote R 9950 and once it has been formatted with vista ultimate, the dvd-rom has dissapeared from My Computer...i don't know how to get it back...could somebody please help me by finding the right driver for his DVD-Rom (its a combo drive...)
