My Gateway laptop was messed up because it would not charge. I called in and they told me it was a motherboard problem. I am about to send it in to the company to get a new motherboard. I have lots of important things on my hard drive and I do not want to lose them. I would have put them on my external hard drive, but since my battery will not charge nor will my laptop use external power, I was not able to to put them on. Will my hard drive be depleted?
