My mic is plugged in but my computer doesnt allow me to use or adjust any microphone options.Just built a new computer and I am using an ASUS P5KC mobo for sound. When I plug in the microphone it recognizes that I plugged one in and it is definitely in the correct slot.When I go to volume control the microphone slider/options are greyed out.Could it be because I'm not using a sound card and am just using the sound hardware from the mobo?
