Recently Upgraded my Pc from 1ghz Celeron to a 3.6 pentium, my intial enthusiasm has been dwindled away as I cant for the life of me understand why my new pc wont even boot up. When I turn it on, it turns off again after about 3 seconds, I read through the manual which says could be that a hard drive cant be detected ? I've tried the hard drive with eveyr jumper setting on secondary and master? with no joy? this is with a Asus Motherboard P5GD1 ? if anybody has some useful advice it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanceThe actual system I Purchased is the one at this link http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Asus-Midi-Tower-PC...ZViewItemS J mentioned that "It should be jumpered as master and plugged into primary IDE connector on board next to floppy connector" how would i go about doing that?
