...Windows Vista to XP? I got a laptop over the summer that has Windows Vista Home Basic built in. I hear alot lately about people switchin over to Windows XP and "I've never been happier. Best move I could've made." BUT...I also hear that in about a year everything will be made Vista compatible and that XP will be obsolete. So do I swap? Or wait and see? HELP!!!I guess I should have said this already. I play some online games. I mostly just tool around online. I'm learning how to use Word and Excel. It just seems like every time I log on, I have oodles of new problems with like ATI External blah blah blah and Windows is reporting problems and searching for solutions. My computer is slow as molasses and I didn't know if maybe that and other problems were because of Vista or maybe am I doing something wrong? I use Windows Defender and Norton Antivirus. I just want it to run well.
