I have a setup with an ASUS motherboard. Everything in it has been in it for a while, and was working fine, then randomly shut down. It started doing it more often, and now its at the point when I turn on the computer, it will beep once and shut down. I took out the stick of ram and tried to restart the computer, but it just shutdown without beeping. I tried putting the ram in the second slot and got no beep and shutdown again. Nothing ever came up on the screen either, the monitor stayed black.
