...and I have found this in the Manual:? I need help, Iam buying a new motherboard and I have found this in the Manual:• We recommend that you use an ATX 12 V Specification 2.0-compliant power supply unit (PSU) with a minimum of 300 W power rating. This PSU type has 24-pin and 4-pin power plugs.• If you intend to use a PSU with 20-pin and 4-pin power plugs, make sure that the 20-pin power plug can provide at least 15 A on +12 V and that the PSU has a minimum power rating of 300 W. The system may become unstable or may not boot up if the power is inadequate.to save buying a new psu (the one I have is ATX12v P4 switching power supply 550w, I have no idea who the manufacturer is) can anyone tell me how to attach a 20-pin plug into a 24-pin connection, should it be alligned so that pin1 goes into hole1 this will mean that nothing is attached to holes 11, 12, 23 & 24, is it as easy as that.
