I've been doing a bit of holiday shopping for myself on Newegg and i found this stuff..Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...31222RCPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...9115017now i definitely want to get the quad-core, mostly to brag lol. i just wanted to check with you fine Yahooligans as to compatability, which should be none. but mostly heat issues? i know the CPU comes with a some sort of cooling, but is it really reliable? i'm probably not going to overclock until i get the hang of doing that, but yeah.. i'll take any suggestions or advice or anything.also, is there anything i need to remember when installing a new motherboard? can i just hook up my old hard-drive to it and have it work? i'm more worried about the operating system reloading on it, as i'm kinda new to this and have no idea!! i do have a back-up of my system on my external drive, but does that load the O/S as well? please! help!
