...resolution. How do I increase this when connected to LCD monitor? I bought a laptop, Dell Inspiron 1200. By choosing the property on the desktop, I can set the max resolution at 1280x768. But even when i connect my laptop to my 21 inch LCD display, the max is still 1280x780. Is there anyway to increase this resolution withtout changing the hardware (video card)? Can I install a new video driver? Dell gave me only one video driver, and didn't give me any other choice.
