Hi. I have reason to believe that one of my pieces of hardware is using an incorrect driver... I was planning on uninstalling the said driver and allowing Windows Vista to auto-install the correct driver.Problem is-- I'm not sure if windows will be able to install the new driver on its own. I don't have a cd or diskette full of device drivers, and I was hoping that Vista would have some default drivers. If it doesn't, I want to have a back-up plan.Would creating a restore point and then reloading it in case I can't install the new driver undo any changeS? Or are drivers immune to System Restore Processes? Thanks
