Pontiac Sunfire? I do not claim to really know car repair - but I know how to websurf and tried to figure out what may cause the passenger window on my Sunfire to be stuck half up/half down. It's been giving me a problem for months and I just never touched it. I was stupid yesterday and put it down, halfway as that is all it went, and have not been able to get it to move up at all this time. Usually it would go up little by little, even if I had to wait a day. I may be totally off on this but in reading forums online I'm thinking the motor needs to be replaced. Having no one handy to do this for me(that knows cars, I mean) I assume I'll be forced to take it somewhere to get it fixed. This will need to wait at least a payday so what I was hoping to find out is roughly what I can expect to pay a local shop to fix-including the labor which I bet cost 10X more than the part!-and if anyone knows of a good place in the Ft Lauderdale area???
